fruitful weekend

Managed to cook some black herbal chicken soup for myself. wow.... it just taste so so nice, esp when it was topped up with some DOM.... hehhehe I didnt know home cook herbal soup can taster better... maybe because I cook this myself. hmm cant really say I cooked it... cuz it was so simple. add herbal stuff into slow cooker pot, add black chicken and water... set temperature to auto.. and tata it is ready to be served after sereval hours of slow cooking... add in some DOM.. and all done!

Had an enjoyable time with Janine. She was well-behaved in church too. Maybe the stage of snatching toys from others had passed now she willingly share them. Went to Sakae Sushi at T2... had a great meal there ate a lot but the bill was relatively small less than $50 despite wy order a few rounds of sashimi and I ordered sun maki, rainbow maki, chawamushi, beef udon.. and many more... maybe because they have changed their price for premium red plate from $6.50 per plate to $4.99 per plate ahahhahaha good news for wy...

wy played with Janine during our walk to the car at the airport... resulting her to have nightmares, and hence sleepless night for the both of us (haiz...) anyway we woke up on sunday, didn't even had breakfast and went back to sleep... Janine played with her toys while the 2 of us took turn to steal a nap in her bedroom... after a while the 3 of us were sound asleep till.... hmm 2pm I guess... woke up once again for bunch. wanna go jurong point cuz I wanted to get some groceries from ntuc but the carpark is full... so wy suggested we go IMM... It had been so so long since we last visited IMM... and if I didn't remember it wrongly this was Janine's 1st trip to IMM. Wow it was huge especially after the renovation... it seems endless shopping there. 1st 3hr of free parking, I thought who will ever stay there for more than 3hrs hahhaha I was wrong. There are a lot more shops, eatery, kitchen stuff and not forgetting Daisy the almost 1.99 shop.

We spent a solid 2hrs there most of the time walking around rather than eating. We couldn't decide what to eat, too many choice so we end up at MAC hahaha... it's a small outlet and it's warm so we had our meal chop chop... and my dear Janine ate too fast till she bit her own tongue. She cried like no tomorrow pple sourrounding us might thought we ill-treat her man... both wy and myself couldn't figure out why she cried until I saw the bleeding tongue when she open her mouth wide screaming for help... gave her some cold drink to stop the bleeding... all thanks to the apple juice, the bleeding stop and the cooling juice ease her discomfort. phew* we got a shock. It's funny though bitting her own tongue, something she would be more careful with next time she enjoys her meal.

Went to courts and bought PIL a new set of sofa. The current one was old and torn. Thought we should bless them a new one though with our budget constraint wy wanted something comfy. There was a few nice sets, price ranges from 599 to 999. The 999 was nice and comfy but they are left with the display set so wy didn't like it. Saw a 599 set which Janine love it.. She kept crawling up and sits on it but they are only left with red colour.... walking around and trying other sets like musical chair... finally saw this set at 699 3+2 seater comfy and most importantly all colours are available. Thank God else I think it might be a wasted trip. Black colour seems a bit too dark and normal... so we chose dark chocolate...

Called MIL to confirm she hasn't place any order for a new sofa set before we approach the sales person.. paid and arranged for delivery (additional 150) They will delivery in 2 weeks time... yipee got new sofa to sit on in another 2 weeks time....

I think the herbal chicken really worked I forgot to drink the chicken of essence today but I am still feeling good, not as easily exhasted like other monday. But LS in the morning.. hehhee baby and mummy doing well. Next appointment with Dr Adrain is this saturday... will see baby again.. Baby Jadon must be strong, daddy mummy and Janine jie jie shall see you again on sat...
